Well girls the competition is clearly over. Amy Knowles is the winner of Miss. Bahamas Universe. She is well spoken and has the personality to go with her beauty. She is a very down to earth person and i think no i know her pictures are OFF THE CHAINS. We need someone who can represent the Bahamas with not only looks but also brains and i think Amy Knowles is the person for that job.

In my opinion, Reneika Knowles is the most OUTSTANDING of the contestants. She has poise, a pleasant demeanor and she is an intellegent entrpeneur. Not to mention her four previous crowns, Ms. Knowles has just opened a successful new business and she is a debutant. While coming in to contact with Ms. Knowles on many occasions after winning my own crown, I have come to admire her and I have faith in watching the crown being placed on the head of a deserving yoiung lady who truly represents a strong, intellegent, beautiful Bahamian young lady–Ms. Knowles!

I am here to support Kevra…. As a proud supporter, I must say I am please with this year’s contestants. I am also please with working of the organization as they assisted with the physical, mental and spiritual training of the young ladies. Since October, I have been supporting Kevra and helping in her preparation. We were please of the assisting and advice in our preparation given by the Organization until the official gathering of the young ladies in November. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL THE YOUNG LADIES…. Ouch…. The potentials… This is an excellent group of ladies. I am looking for the swimsuit poses of the other two contestants… But from what I can see this one is tooooooooooo close to call. Any of the Bahamian beauties gaining one of the two spots should do well. I encourage the organizers to jump right into promoting the newly crown queens and getting them ready for international competition – with a little more focus energy and polishing from the organization the ladies- any one of them should do well..

To be honest there are only four young ladies I see that the competition will be heavy held by and they are as noted:
Sacha Scott, Amy Knowles, Tinyse from Grand Bahama and Reneika Knowles. They have the international look for any runway and we need young ladies that are poised and have this look that catches Iternational attention. We need not send persons who dont get ant type of recognition only a number. The last of these type of ladies were: Leslia Miller, Racquel Horton, Nadia Rodgers, Samantha Carter,Leandra. I must say that you are doing a wonderful job but some of the ladies still need a little polishing.

Sharie from the photos – appears to be the leading delegate, base on basic international standards – a sellable face and height….On a second look she is a bit heavy in the hips and thighs and does not maximize her height in photo taking… But we all can work on our weight and inches. Natural beauty and height is God given… Her down fall can be her intellectual level, weight and attitude when measured against the other contenders. Being realistic she does have an edge on the other competitors.
Two other strong contenders are Sacha and Amy…. Sacha has an internationally accepted look and appears graceful- she lacks desire and luster. Amy on the other hand is more confidence and savvy than the two, however not as naturally beautiful.

Good Evening Everyone:
I must commend all of the young ladies on their photographs as they all are nice and each one has its own style. I believe in choosing a queen one must consider poise, gracefullness, height, size and weight proportionately placed, facial look that is unique, intelligence level that is high and one’s entire demeanor. A queen should be a clear representation of the majority of the people in her country. I feel that Miss Bahamas 2008 needs to be a contestant that can stand out amongst her peers here and internationally. Basically one that has a pleasant disposition with a positive (NOT ARROGANT) attitude. To further add, someone that has experience in pageants, one that is well educated academically, personally and socially. Simply put one that knows how to speak, carry herself like a lady, one that is positive, vibrant and firm in her beliefs yet open-minded to others’ opinions.
We need a strong representative. One that is headstrong and independent and one that WILL bring the crown home. One that knows how to speak, walk, interact, listen, be disciplined, experienced in pageantry and carries herself like a lady. Most importantly our Miss Bahamas Universe 2008 should be one that is well versed, well travelled, well experienced, well educated and well refined. In my opinion, the most deserving lady of this title should be non-other than Miss Reneika Knowles. She has all the above mentioned and much more to offer.
Reneika Knowles is poised, elegant, graceful, educated and simply put intelligent. Not just book smart, street savy or business witted. But after speaking to Miss Knowles on many ocassions I questioned her about any and everything and she was able to engage my interest, carry on the conversation with substance in her answers and views on certain topics. Basically, she knows alot about everything and not just too much about one thing. She would be the best candidate to send to represent the country. I can go on for days but it is clear she is the most well-rounded individual I have ever met in my life and very successful, intelligent, mature, disciplined, reserved and objective for her age group.
My plea to the powers that be in choosing our Miss Bahamas Universe
2008 choose a young lady will represent in all aspects intelligence, conversation, height, size, speech, education, socially, objectivity in thinking, well travelled and one that is sure of herself.
Simply put a young lady that is a true depiction of what a lady ought to be in our society.
